Congratulations

- Gianluca Paronitti, Junior Research Associate at the IEG, has been
  awarded the Mimos (Italian movement for modelling and simulation)
  special prize for the best PhD thesis on simulation and virtual
  reality.

- Mariarosaria Taddeo, Junior Research Associate at the IEG, won a
  scholarship and PhD position offered by the Philosophy Department of
  the University of Padua (Italy). The scholarship is to develop her
  work on "Inferential Reasoning and Information", it has been granted
  by the "Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio Padova e Rovigo".

  The two-days conference, organised by Luciano Floridi and Julian
  Savulescu, saw the participations of Terrell Bynum, Rafael Capurro,
  Roger Crisp, Charles Ess, Tony Hope, Deborah Johnson, James Moor, Toru
  Nishigaki, Tadashi Takenouchi and Jeroen Van den Hoven.

  A selection of the papers will be published in a special issue of
  Ethics and Information Technology which will be guest-edited by
  Luciano Floridi and Julian Savulescu.

  National Research Council, which is the leading research center in
  Spain. The Journal itself is the leading Spanish Journal on
  Philosophy, and one of the most acknowledge in the Spanish speaking
