Contents |
What will it cost?
Students are liable to pay tuition fees to the University and to their college for each term of the course they undertake until the course has been completed. In addition to tuition fees students must budget for their own maintenance (including accommodation) and for the living expenses of any dependants who may accompany them. Although liability is incurred on a termly basis, colleges - who are responsible for collecting both University and college fees - may require students to pay a full year's fees in advance.
University fees
University fees will be payable at home or overseas rates as applicable, together with College fees. University fees for overseas students for 2012-13 are £16,200. University's fees for Home/EU students for 2012-13 are £3,828. If you are a Home/EU student and you wish to study for a qualification of an equivalent or lower level to one you already hold then you maybe eligible for higher fees. Further information can be found here: [1]
College fees
College fees are for academic facilities provided by the college and do not include accommodation or meal charges. Each college charges a fee which is separate from, and in addition to, University fees. College fees vary from college to college, and according to the course and length of study, but do not distinguish between home, EU, and overseas students. As a guide, the college fees for the MSc are approximately £2500.
