This is a three or four year course, leading either to a BA degree after three years, or a Masters degree after four years. Students decide in the summer before their third year whether they are going to stay for one or two more years.

(The percentages shown reflect the amount of time students will typically spend on each part of the course. In the exams, options and the project are weighted more heavily than core material to reflect their more advanced nature.)
When applying, if you do not know whether you will want to leave after three or four years, it is best to apply for the four year course, as doing so makes sure of local authority funding for all four years should you need it.
