Now as we approach the end of 2013 we are expected once again to miraculously wade through, and make sense of, new work programmes and web pages as Horizon 2020 looms.
If you have been hibernating for the last 2 years, Horizon 2020 is the European Commission’s next research funding framework which will last from 2014 through to 2020 (hence the catchy name). Any researcher in department, academic or otherwise, can apply and information is starting to come through thick and fast – but where to start? What’s changed? What’s relevant to Computer Scientists? Is it worth it?!
You’ll get answers to these questions and more if you come along to our Horizon 2020 talk, hosted by the very knowledgeable Gill Wells, Head of the European Team here at Oxford.
The workshop will be taking place form 1pm on 20 November in the Tony Hoare Room, Robert Hooke Building. As is often the case, a bribe of lunch is in place to encourage you to attend.
Please book through me so I can keep track of numbers for seating and food.
