Registration for BNCOD’13 it’s now open. Early Registration from 8th April to 21st April, and Regular Registration from 22nd April to 19th June. More details here.

The first confirmed workshop is the Third International Workshop on “Data Extraction and Object Search” (DEOS 2013), that will take place on July 7th, 2013. The goal of the workshop is to present and discuss ongoing work on data extraction and object search for products, events, reviews, and other types of structured data on the web. Nilesh Dalvi (Facebook), Stefano Ceri (Politecnico Milan) and Roberto Navigli (Rome, La Sapienza) are confirmed as keynote speakers.

The final program consists of 16 full papers, three short papers and one system description.

We are glad to confirm that BNCOD13 will have tutorials from Wenfei Fan (University of Edinburgh, personal page) on ‘Querying Big Social Data’, from Christopher Ré (Stanford University, personal page) on ‘Big Data Analytics’, and from Marcelo Arenas (Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile, personal page) on ‘Querying the Web with SPARQL’.

Peter Buneman (University of Edinburgh, personal page), Christoph Koch (EPFL, personal page), and Dan Suciu (University of Washington, personal page) are the keynote speakers for BNCOD 2013.

The 29th British National Conference on Databases (BNCOD 2013) will be held at the University of Oxford, St. Anne’s College, from 8th to 10th of July 2013. Stay tuned!
