On a university-wide level 93% of final year undergraduates at the University are satisfied with their courses and life. Oxford is ranked joint second (with the Open University) after the University of Buckingham (the UK’s only private university), who had an approval rating of 95%. 91% of Cambridge students declared themselves satisfied. The survey revealed that 90% of Oxford students surveyed were satisfied with the quality of their Computer Science courses. Computing Laboratory teaching staff are particularly noted for their ability to explain things and make the subject interesting. Courses are seen as intellectually stimulating and well organized. Of those who responded, 94% indicated that they received sufficient advice and support during their studies. Each and every student said they had been able to access IT resources, specialized equipment, and facilities when they needed to.
