OUCL D.Phil Student wins AXA Funding

Raymond Lal has won an AXA Research Fund doctoral grant for three years, worth 25,000 Euros per year.

The awards are extremely competitive and AXA support 20-30 students each year across the EU.  Each department was able to nominate one student and the University were able to submit a maximum of three nominations.

The Funds finance projects that concern the major transformations of the modern world and their associated impact and risks to man and the environment. This approach exclusively concerns the following four domains

  • Finance and economy
  • Science
  • Technology
  • Social sciences
