Five plus one papers from Oxford to be presented at ECAI 2012

Members of the department have had five regular papers accepted at ECAI 2012, one of the leading AI conferences worldwide:
- "Large-scale Interactive Ontology Matching: Algorithms and Implementation" by E. Jimenez Ruiz, B. Cuenca Grau, Y. Zhou and I. Horrocks (all Oxford)
- "Conservative Social Laws" by T. Ågotnes (Bergen), W. Van der Hoek (Liverpool), and M. Wooldridge (Oxford)
- "Delegating Decisions in Strategic Settings" by M. Wooldridge (Oxford) and S. Kraus (Maryland)
- "LoCo - A Logic for Configuration Problems" by M. Aschinger, C. Drescher (both Oxford) and H. Vollmer (Hannover)
- "Inconsistency Handling in Datalog+/- Ontologies" by T. Lukasiewicz, M. V. Martinez and G. I. Simari (all Oxford)
On top of that Michael Wooldridge has an invited paper/talk on "Bad equilibria (and what to do about them)".
The
conference will be held in Montpellier, France, in August 2012.
