Department of Computer Science, Finance Officer, Grade 6: Salary £27,057 - £32,277 p.a.

The Finance team within the Department of Computer Science is seeking to recruit a full-time, permanent, Finance Officer with a good understanding and practical experience of accounting financial controls.
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of research projects including providing monthly reports, forecasting and monitoring project spend.
To be successful in this post you will have previous financial accounting experience, a good understanding of research grant processes, excellent IT skills, especially in Excel and exceptional communication skills.
The post has a salary on the University grade 06S scale (currently £27,057 - £32,277 p.a.), includes membership of the Universities Superannuation Scheme, and has an annual leave entitlement of 38 days per year (inclusive of all public holidays and university closed periods).
