I was born on Feb. 5, 1979, in Qingfeng, a small village of the city Jiamusi, which is a city in the province Heilongjiang of North China. I visited the elementary school in Qingfeng from 1986 to 1992. Then I continued with the middel school in the town Dalai from 1992 to 1995, the high school in Jiamusi from 1995 to 1998.

After the school, I studied Mechanics at the Tongji University in Shanghai. On August 27, 2000, I went to Germany, and started my study of Computer Science and Mathematics at the Universität des Saarlandes. I obtained my Vordiplom of Informatik and Mathmatik in 2002. I finished my diploma thesis Logic and Model Checking for Hidden Markov Models in 2004, under the supervision of Prof. Dr-Ing. Holger Hermanns. During the study, I worked as a software developer in the company ATMedia.
