Interests

My interests are in modelling the way in which humans use concepts, and specifically, in how new concepts can be formed from the combination of existing ones. Humans can combine concepts in unpredictable ways, and  I use methods from computational linguistics, category theory, and quantum theory to investigate these phenomena. I am interested in applying these methods to conceptual spaces and evolutionary semantics.
