Biography
Selina is a doctoral student in the Centre for Doctoral Training in Cyber Security. She is co-supervised by Ivan Flechais from Department of Computer Science and Jonathan Lusthaus from Department of Sociology. Her current work focuses on investigating the prevalence of cheating behaviours in video games and highlighting the use of illicit tools in game environments. Selina has an MSc degree in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London. Selina has previous worked in tech support roles at critical infrastructure and startup industries.
In 2019, Selina was the President of Oxford Fintech and Legaltech Society which hosts events throughout the academic term time to discuss the application of computing technology in financial institutions and legal services. She was a student representative at the Computer Science Graduate Society (CoGS) and helps organise events for the academic and social life of the postgraduates in the department.
