Interests

I am in the first year of a DPhil in Computer Science, working on the use of Deep Learning in Medical Image Analysis as part of the Computational and Health Informatics theme. My background is in Mathematics and Physics, with an MSc in Machine Learning.

I have previously worked as a research assistant at the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology looking at the use of Deep Learning in Classification and Localisation of Disease Markers in OCT scans.

My research interests are:

  • 2D and 3D Segmentation of Medical Images
  • Uncertainty analysis
  • Transformers and related network structures

My current research project is in improving the performance and utility of 3D segmentation methods for Medical Image Analysis, primarily looking at CT and MRI scans.
