Interests

I am a Research Student in Computational Biology, working on "Biomechanical Modelling of Soft Tissues using FEM" and a member of Worcester College.

Biography

I attended the School of Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences, NTUA for my first degree (BA+MSc) where I completed a thesis: "Simulation of the mechanical behaviour of the human lumbar intervertebral disc",

and the School of Chemical Engineering, NTUA for my MSc in Computational Mechanics, where I completed a thesis: "A parametric analysis and comparison between algorithms used for solving inverse problems for finding defects in a plane problem".

I spend some time in 2004 in Grenoble, France where I worked at ILL on modelling of shot-peening on metals.
