Biography

I studied Physics and Astronomy in Mainz and Heidelberg, Germany, and went on to do a doctorate at the TU Munich in Analytical and Physical Chemistry. I then worked at City University in London as Academic Administrator in the School of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences, with responsibilities in student and research administration. In 2006, I moved to Oxford to work as Academic Administrator at Lady Margaret Hall before joining the department in 2008.

I am a Member of the Institute of Physics and Fellow of the Burgon Society. I also sing with Exeter College Chapel Choir.
