Trusted Infrastructure
Summer School
ETISS 2008
Masterclasses
Masterclasses will give students and academics an opportunity to interact with an experienced researcher. These will be slots of approximately 1.5 hours. Around half of the time will be spent describing some open research issue or problem in trusted computing, and the remainder given over to a facilitated discussion among the students about how the problem might be solved.
James Fazey (CESG) and Marion Weber (BSI)
British and German Governments
James and Marion will describe some of the applications of Trusted Infastructure which are of relevance to Government, and describe some research challenges which arise as a result.
Graeme Proudler (HP Labs)
The TCG Architecture
Many detailed architecural decisions have contributed to the current design of the TPM. Graeme will set out some of these, and invite discussion about their strengths and weaknesses, and how they might change in future.
