Getting in touch

Administrative matters: The Programme Office should be the first point of contact for general enquiries, module bookings, and for any administrative matter related to the operation of the Programme—including student registration. It is staffed from 09.00—17.00.

Academic matters: All students on the Programme are assigned a supervisor at the beginning of their period of study. Supervisors can provide advice on all academic matters, including course selection and examination entry. Supervisors will also provide guidance on the choice of a suitable MSc project, and on the preparation of a dissertation. If a student chooses a project that is closer to the particular expertise of another member of the academic staff, then a change of supervisor may be appropriate. It may also be necessary to allocate a new supervisor should a member of staff take a period of leave. Participants who are not registered students do not have a supervisor; their first point of contact on academic matters should be the Programme's Director of Graduate Studies.

Additional support: The Programme's Director of Graduate Studies should be able to address most academic questions, should the student's supervisor not be available. Students are also assigned a college advisor, who will be able to provide general academic or pastoral advice, and act as an additional point of contact with the University. If a participant or student has a problem or question that they would prefer not to raise with the Office, with their supervisor, with their College, or with the Director of Graduate Studies, then they should contact the Programme Director.
