New York Academy of Sciences’ Future Leaders Program – Call

index“The New York Academy of Sciences'” coupled with “Science and Technology in Society” has announced it’s 2015 Future Leaders program. This program aims to offer an opportunity to nominate the most visionary scientists aged 40 years or younger for participation at th STS Forum in Japan.

Eligible nominees must be born in or before 1975, hold a PhD or MD and be available for the STS forum in Kyoto, Japan, between 3rd-6th October 2015.

Nominee’s will need to complete:

— Name, title, date of birth and contact information
— Current curriculum vitae (4-page maximum, PDF) & list of peer-reviewed publications (2-page maximum, PDF)
— Nominee’s 500-word research statement
— A 500-word endorsement/rationale from the nominator describing the nominee’s scientific contributions and potential to offer new solutions to important global challenges.

There will be a limit of 3 applications per institution therefore an internal process will be used should more that 3 applications be recieved. Please send the above details of nomination to Louise Sumner by the 17th July 2015, for selection and submission at the external deadline on the 21st July 2015.
