Robert Madelin, Director General for digital affairs at the European Commission, will give a talk entitled: “The First Digital European Commission?”, which will cover the new Commission’s digital strategy and priorities. The seminar will also cover the transforming effects of digital technology on areas such as urban life (smart cities), culture, transport, energy, health, and citizen-state interaction.
