Virtual Graduate Open Day

18th November 2021

Our Masters Courses

The Department of Computer Science is at the heart of computing and related interdisciplinary activity at Oxford, and one of the best places in the world to study computer science.

Which course you choose depends on your circumstances and interests.

If you have completed an undergraduate degree in computer science or a related subject and are ready for another year of full-time study, then our Advanced Computer Science MSc is for you.

If you already are at MSc level, and are interested in pursuing your own research project, our Computer Science DPhil program or one of our interdisciplinary Centres for Doctoral Training might be for you. If you want to combine business and computer science, why not join our 1 + 1 Master's with the Said Business School?

If you have completed an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field, and have gathered professional experience in software engineering at your place of work, our part-time Software Engineering program is for you: we offer an MSc in Software Engineering, and a MSc in Software and Systems Security.

You can find lots of useful guidance about graduate courses, fees and funding and application guides on the University of Oxford graduate admissions website.

“I especially value how approachable lecturers and class tutors in the program are. Every so often I got stuck or came up with questions when studying on my own, but it was easy to drop them a quick e-mail, or arrange a visit during office hours. This gave me confidence and helped me make progress.”
