We are thrilled that the amazing research being done here at the Department of Computer Science has been recognised with 3 MPLS Impact awards and one commendation! Well done to all involved.
Tom Melham won an MPLS Commercial Impact Award for New commercial formal verification product, integrating software symbolic simulation
Yarin Gal, Jan Brauner, Soren Mindermann and Mrinank Sharma won an MPLS Social Impact Award for Understanding the effectiveness of interventions against COVID-19, using Bayesian models
Seth Flaxman won an MPLS Impact Award (Covid-19) for Computational methods underpinning the Global Reference Group on Children Affected by COVID-19
and Atılım Güneş Baydin won an MPLS Social Impact Commendation for Artificial Intelligence launched into space to detect floods
