3D Photographs
These are photographs of Chicago which I took on 35mm slide film in
September 1993. I don't claim to be an expert photographer, so I haven't
put the images here because of their supposed excellence. Instead, I
have put them here because they were an interesting experiment in 3D
photography.
Formats
Each photograph is available as a stereo pair
or as a red-green image. In addition, the
stereo-pair images may be available in both cross-eyed and wide-eyed
formats. The wide-eyed images are rather small and lack detail, since
for most people there is a maximum width beyond which a wide-eyed image
cannot be viewed.
Each image is a JPEG file which was made at a gamma of 2.2, so viewers
such as "xli" which assume that the image has a gamma of 1 may make the
image appear too bright.
