Abstract

"The goal of program induction is to learn computer programs from input/output examples of a target program. This project will develop lifelong program induction techniques [1]. In this approach, rather than learn a single program in isolation, the goal is to learn many programs over time, allowing for solutions to be reused between tasks. The goal is to develop techniques to handle large amounts of background knowledge. This work is a mix of theory, implementation, and experimentation.
