Conference Registration

Everyone is welcome to register to attend the conference. We will prioritise members of the Women@CL and OxWocs networks due to capacity reasons. The remaining places will be allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis. There is no registration fee; and breakfast, lunch, refreshments and a conference dinner will be provided free of charge. Coach transportation will be provided free of charge for all participants travelling from Cambridge. The deadline for registration is the 1st of April.

Abstract Submission Details

We strongly encourage current undergraduates, postgraduates, research assistants and postdocs to submit abstracts of their research. The conference is a very encouraging and friendly environment to present, so we highly encourage 1st-time presenters to submit here. Due to popularity, those who submit abstracts will have priority for the formal dinner! We have two types of presentations: oral and poster. The oral presentations will be (10min presentation+5min QA) and will be selected based on abstract quality and spread across the different research areas in computer science. The Reviewing Committee will review all presentation and poster abstracts. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by the 1st of April. There will be prizes for the best oral and poster presentations.

Abstracts should be max 300 words and figures are encouraged (max two figures, titles included in total word count). As this conference covers all disciplines of computer science, the abstracts should be written for a broad audience, with clear motivation and methods descriptions. We welcome abstracts of new, preliminary, submitted and published research! On the submission portal, abstracts can be uploaded as a Word doc or pdf and are limited to 10MB.
