CONFERENCE VENUE

The conference is to be held at the Computing Laboratory at the University of Oxford. Oxford University is the oldest English speaking university in the world, with colleges and buildings dating from the 12th century. It is consistently ranked in the top five universities in the world. Oxford itself is a beautiful city near the conjunction of the Thames (Isis) and Cherwell rivers, in the county of Oxfordshire. Travel time to Oxford from Heathrow is approximately 90 minutes by bus (click here for the airline, a bus from Heathrow and Gatwick direct to Oxford) or train. Attractions in and around Oxford include the Radcliffe Camera, punting on the Cherwell, Blenheim palace (the birthplace of Winston Churchill) and its many pubs, restaurants and shops.
