Respiratory Modelling Group

The respiratory modelling group develops patient-specific models of tissue deformation, ventilation, perfusion and gas exchange. One of the primary drives for this work is to investigate the impact of airway remodelling on lung function in asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) within the remit of a large European grant - AirPROM (http://www.airprom.european-lung-foundation.org/).

Weekly meetings take place on Friday at 11am in the Department of Computer Science.
