Michael Wooldridge made an ACM Fellow

We are delighted to announce that our Head of Department, Professor Michael Wooldridge has been made a Fellow of ACM, the Association for Computing Machinery. Michael is the only new Fellow from the UK.

ACM President Alexander L. Wolf explains, ‘Whether they work in leading universities, corporations, or research laboratories, these newly minted ACM Fellows are responsible for the breakthroughs and industrial innovations that are transforming society at every level’.

Michael has been specifically recognised for his contributions to multi-agent systems and the formalization of rational action in multi-agent environments.
