Abhishek Dasgupta and Thibault Lestang named 2021 Software Sustainability Institute Fellows

The Software Sustainability Institute has named two members of our department as Fellows for 2021. These new research software ambassadors represent some of the best people working in – and advocating for – better research software.
Abhishek works as a Research Software Engineer within the Research Software Engineering group. Currently he is part of the engineering team at Global.health, a multi-disciplinary collaborative project.
Thibault also works in Research Software Engineering, and is interested in exploring new concepts and principles for the engineering of research software, and researching how RSEs and researchers can best work together. In 2019 he started the Oxford Code Review Network, an initiative aimed at making code review easier for all researchers across the university.
