Would you like to sponsor the Computing Laboratory Graduate Student Conference 2010?

The organisers of this year’s DPhil Student Conference are planning to publish the conference proceedings and are seeking an industrial sponsor to support this.The Conference, which is an annual event run entirely by a group of graduate students from the Lab, provides the opportunity for students to present and discuss their work in a semi-formal academic setting, as well as giving those who are interested valuable experience in
conference organisation. The organisers feel that publishing the proceedings will encourage more students to submit proposals for papers as well as being an ideal way to disseminate the Lab’s graduate work to a wider audience. The students would welcome industry sponsorship to help meet the costs of such a publication. As a sponsor, your company’s name and logo would appear in the proceedings and on the posters advertising the event. You would also be welcome to attend on the day, distribute any promotional materials of your own, and meet our students.
