Second Marie Curie Fellowship awarded

Posted:

Ana Minchole has been awarded a Marie Curie Intra-European fellowship, bringing her to the Department for the next 2 years.

The main objective of the research she will be working on is to investigate the mechanisms underlying the interactions between the two most commonly-used anti-arrhythmic therapies, namely class I and III anti-arrhythmic drugs, and internal cardioverter defibrillators, using advanced computational modelling and simulation in combination with experimental and clinical datasets.

Dr Blanca Rodriguez will be Dr Minchole' sponsor in this project within the Department's Computational Biology Group.
