Paper accepted to IEEE's Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics

First-year doctoral student Eamonn Maguire, whose research is focused on visualisation of biological data, has had a
paper accepted for presentation at IEEE VisWeek. It will subsequently be published in Institute of Electrical and Electronics
Engineers's Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics journal. The paper is entitled Taxonomy-based
Glyph Design - with a Case Study on Visualizing Workflows of Biological Experiments.
VisWeek 2012 is described
as the "premier forum for advances in scientific and information visualization", and brings together researchers and practitioners
from academia, government, and industry to explore their shared interests in tools, techniques, and technology. The
event will take place in Seattle, USA in October 2012.
