MSc prizes awarded

Congratulations to Nathan Hale and Alex Wilson who have been awarded the Department’s annual prizes for MSc students.

Nathan Hale won the Hoare Prize for the best overall performance, in the MSc in Computer Science. He was supervised by David Kay, Michael Benedikt and Engin Demir.

Alex Wilson won the Hoare Prize for best project in the MSc in Computer Science. The project was entitled “A Hierarchical Word Alignment Model based on Pitman-Yor Processes“. He was supervised by Phil Blunsom.

Each will receive £200 in prize money.
