Abstract

To improve the ad hoc security technology we need digest functions -- short keyed hash functions with specified properties -- which can be computed efficiently, and specifically more efficiently than standard cryptographic hashes. The objective of this project is to develop such functions: these might be based on existing models that we have or some other insight.
