Abstract

'eScience can be described as the large scale science that will increasingly be carried out through distributed global collaborations enabled by the Internet.' This describes the fundamental requirements of the Integrative Biology project to support a diverse user community to bring together scientists and technologists to develop a 'collaboratory' for heart and cancer modelling.
