TIME-EACM: Transport Information Monitoring Environment - Event Architecture and Context Management
Transport Information Monitoring Environment-Event Architecture and Context Management - is the research core of a wider project, TIME , and will use the City of Cambridge as a testbed for developing software to monitor and analyse traffic. The project aims to design and develop a sensor network architecture that is tailored to the needs of traffic monitoring, an event-based middleware, and higher-level context models, to provide a convenient basis for applications to be provided with the information of interest to them.
The work in the Sensor Networks Group here in Oxford concerns the propagation of traffic information from the sensor nodes to the middleware. Please refer to the Project details section for additional information on TIME-EACM.
