Alice Bentinck

EF at Oxford - So you’re thinking about starting a startup?

If you want to work on the most interesting technological problems: start a startup.

Alice Bentinck, co-founder of EF, will be talking about the first steps you need to take, from finding a cofounder and validating your idea to raising your first seed round.
You shouldn't waste your time in jobs that don’t make the most of your skills and in which you don’t share the upside from what you're building. We work with exceptionally technically talented individuals to build their own startups.

Find out from Alice how to take your company from zero to fundable.

Some of our most exciting startups were founded by Oxford students:

• Permutive, co-founded by Joe Root and Tim Spratt, is an intelligent ad-server for sponsored content. They use machine learning to algorithmically understand the meaning behind content and make personalised real-time recommendations.

• Pi-Top, co-founded by Ryan Dunwoody and Jesse Lozano, is the world's first 3D printed, build-it-yourself, raspberry pi laptop.

• SpeakSet, co-founded by Adi Kasliwal, Matt Simmonds and Ewan Marshall, is an accessible video calling system which allows care professionals to connect with their patients in their own homes.
