Abstract:

Containers have revolutionised how we build, deploy and run software at scale. They’ve disrupted the industry and forced us to rethink the fundamentals of what it means to run code. It has taken a joint effort between server vendors, open source communities and infrastructure providers to get us to this point. Microsoft Azure has openly embraced container technology and has built a rich set of services that allow you to reap their benefits. In this talk I will introduce you to these services and show you how Microsoft is innovating at the very bleeding edge of what is currently possible.
