Nationwide: Distributed algorithms (and how they can be used in untrusted distributed environments such as public cloud). Real life examples from Open Banking

Matin Mavaddat

Introduction of new legislations such as Open Banking, that mandates secure sharing of customer information with trusted third parties, is making load prediction and static infrastructure provisioning impractical. This new reality is leading more and more financial institutions to think about taking advantage of commodity clouds to increase their resilience and scalability and lower their costs. In this session we are going to explore a few interesting security challenges that the application and security architects are facing due to the distributed nature of the systems and solutions in an untrusted environment
