About Apple's GPU Hardware Tech Team in St Albans, UK:

Apple's GPU Hardware Tech team are responsible for the outstanding graphics in Apple's chips, which power everything from Apple Watch to iPhone, iPad and Apple TV.

They have unique career opportunities for graduates interested in applying their hardware and software knowledge to developing Apple's cutting-edge GPUs.

  • RTL Design Hardware Engineering: work with micro-architects to design the logic and code the RTL of GPU blocks.
  • Design Verification Engineering: responsible for the pre-silicon RTL verification of blocks in low-power GPU cores.
  • Architecture Validation (modelling/content): work with the modelling team and the content team to create bit-accurate C/C++ models of the GPU architecture.
  • Platform Architecture: work closely with other architects to innovate and come up with new ideas to implement new features, improve performance or decrease area/power for our GPUs.

We look forward to seeing you there.
