When and How to fundraise for your project

Ash Rust ( Sterling Road )

This session will explore the process of starting a business from your ideas and research.  We will look at how to verify your idea solves a problem for customers, how to get your first version live and the fundraising process.

Communication and public speaking are vitally important skills to ensure potential investors, employees and customers understand the message. During this session there will also be the opportunity (this is not compulsory) to practice your own pitch and gain feedback from an industry expert.  There will be a general Q&A session at the end for all participants.

Attendance is encouraged from all degree levels and from academic staff

This event will be followed by a social event at the Red Lion starting at 5:30 where there will be drinks and Canapes.
