Are you prepared for AI's challenges to intellectual property rights and employment in the creative arts? Martin's transdisciplinary research on the financial and ethical implications of AI proposes a unique solution that can be adapted across various industries to ensure the protection of IP and the well-being of all stakeholders.
In his current research, Martin proposes an ecological, non-anthropocentric posthuman framework that can pragmatically enhance the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) mission. Drawing on his experience as a music industry veteran in and Chair of the IEEE Global AI Ethics Arts Committee, he will discuss the legal and ethical implications of AI-generated artworks and their likely impact on IP in the future. Martin's recently published book, Artificial Intelligence & Music Ecosystem (Routledge 2022), comprehensively examines the relationship between AI and music and will provide additional insights for his presentation.
This presentation is ideal for researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers interested in the intersection of AI and the arts who are looking for practical solutions to meet emergent challenges. Martin will provide a vivid and descriptive picture of the potential consequences of not addressing this challenge and the new opportunities that could arise from using AI responsibly and ethically. Join Martin to learn more about the looming threat of AI-generated content and how any industry can adapt its solution to protect your intellectual property rights and take advantage of the exciting new opportunities ahead.
