Semantic Framework for Electronic Governance

Use of ICT in the governance domain for the provision of the public services, is fast becoming a practice, so are news paper reports about failed electronic government initiatives. Electronic Governance projects suffer from many problems. Some are due to the political and social nature of the governance and these have been widely reported. This talk will focus on domain specific, software engineering and semantic issues present in Electronic Governance and discusses a semantic framework approach to address some of these problems.
