Final round of the UK BEBRAS Computational Thinking Challenge takes place

Posted:

Last weekend we welcomed over 200 people to the department over two days, for the second round of the UK BEBRAS Computational Thinking Challenge. Top-achieving students from years 6-13 took part in a final challenge before attending lunch and a prize-giving ceremony at Hertford College.

The UK BEBRAS Computational Thinking Challenge is designed to get students excited about computing and computational thinking. It is a problem-solving contest with questions inspired by topics in computer science. The 103 finalists, who brought a guest with them, were drawn from more than 50,000 students across the UK who took part this year.
