Emanuele D'Osualdo has won the prestigious 2016 BCS/CHPC Distinguished Dissertation award for his DPhil thesis, ‘Verication of Message Passing Concurrent Systems’.   The Council of Professors and Heads of Computing (CPHC), in conjunction with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, annually selects for publication the best British PhD/DPhil dissertations in computer science. The award aims to make more visible the significant contribution made by post-graduate students to computer science. The awarding committee was impressed by the quality of Emanuele’s work from both theoretical and practical perspectives, and expects the thesis to have impact both within its subfield and also more broadly. Many congratulations Emanuele!
