Industry showcase 2017


Do you work in industry? Do you want to know how cutting-edge Computer Science could positively impact your business?

On Friday 23 June The Department of Computer Science is holding a showcase event for people who work in business and industry. We are offering a programme of posters, talks, demonstrations and networking featuring leading academics and researchers in areas such as cyber security, computational biology, verification, software engineering and responsible research and innovation.

The programme includes a welcome speech by Head of Department Professor Michael Wooldridge, a keynote talk by Professor of Computational Medicine Blanca Rodriguez and interactive demos of our work in privacy preservation for mobile devices and our Virtual Assay technology as well as quick fire 15 minute talks on the current state of the art in computer science.
