Professor Stephen Cameron

The Department of Computer Science is very sad to announce the death of Professor Stephen Cameron. Stephen was one of the longest-serving members of the Department, joining us in 1988 as a University Lecturer in Computer Science and Tutorial Fellow at Keble College. He suffered a major stroke on Friday 5 April and did not recover consciousness. He died peacefully on 15 April. We send our profound condolences to his wife, Frances, and to their son and daughter. A book of condolence will be available to be signed in Keble College after Easter. Details of the funeral and any memorial event will be made known when they are available.
