Joel Ouaknine and James Worrell awarded the Salomaa Prize

The Development in Language Theory Symposium has presented the third Salomaa Prize to the department’s Professor Joel Ouaknine and Professor James Worrell. The prize, named to honor the achievements and influence of the founder Academician Arto Salomaa,  was awarded for the pair's outstanding contribution to Theoretical Computer Science, in particular to the theory of timed automata and to the analysis of dynamical systems. The prize consists of a diploma and 2000 euros.
