The University of Oxford has come top of the Sunday Times University League Table 2013 for Computer Science.  Oxford climbed one place in this year’s table to clinch top spot above Cambridge (2nd) and Imperial (3rd).

The league table is described as “the definitive university rankings measuring teaching excellence, student satisfaction, graduate employability, degree outcomes, dropout rates, research quality and student entry requirements.”

Across all the subject areas, Oxford comes in second in the table behind Cambridge.

Further information is given on the Sunday Times website, but behind a paywall.

Recently, Oxford was also named as the number one in Europe in both the 2012 QS World University Ranking for Computer Science and the Shanghai Academic Ranking of World Universities.
