Gary Mirams awarded a grant jointly sponsored by The National Centre for the Replacement, Refinement and Reduction of Animals in Research

Gary Mirams has been awarded a grant jointly sponsored by EPSRC and NC3Rs (The National Centre for the Replacement, Refinement and Reduction of Animals in Research). Gary will be developing a system which aims to predict the side effects of drugs upon the hearts of potential patients, using in vitro multiple ion channel data and mathematical models of cardiac myocytes (muscle cells).
