Abstract

SoLiD (Social Linked Data) or other Personal Data Storage (PDS) systems. Such decentralized PDS is gaining attention in recent years, and supporting MPC in such scenarios is crucial for privacy and user control.

We have benchmarked two different models of applying MPC in decentralized contexts, and developed an architecture implementation to perform MPC on SoLiD, a popular framework for enabling decentralised data autonomy for web users. This implementation demonstrates the architecture well, but is not easy to use by normal users.

This project aims to investigate a more usable privacy-preserving computation for the users by optimising the efficiency of the computation or pre-configure MPC parameters (protocol, number of clients, number of players, etc) for the users.
